If you saw our last post about our 1st makeup lesson of the year, you likely noticed one of my new fav makeup products. Surprise! It’s the Black Radiance Contour Palettes (powder). I am really loving them ever since one of my mentors (Alexandra Butler) put me on to.
Why the surprise? Well, honestly speaking, I don’t carry many drug store products in my kit, but when I do…it’s because they are the bomb! I carry both palettes (Light – Medium and Medium – Dark) and hope to find the newest shade (Dark – Deep) soon, but I haven’t seen it locally. In the pictures posted, I am using both of the matte shades from the Medium – Dark palette.
Now, TBH I am NOT a fan of the highlight shades for the face. BUT, the colors all work together so well together that I’ve used the whole palette for a complete eye look on Mothers of the Bride/Groom and even Bridesmaids. As an eye look I love the subtle chunkiness of the highlighter when used over a good base. But it doesn’t work for me as a face highlighter.
Oh, and I also love their lip gloss in the shade Cashmere. Also an @themuaalex plug. It’s super creamy but not sticky.
