Kristina is a very special Stunning Bride! In 2012 I hosted a giveaway seeking an exceptional prom girl with a bright future to receive FREE makeup services. Kristina won after being referred to me by an old coworker. Fast forward 4 years later, that same coworker sent Kristina my way again for her wedding day makeup. I was so honored to have been called for this special day. Kristina was a dream to work with and her brother/ring bearer, Blake, and I became best friends as I serviced Kristina at her parents’ home in a south suburb of Chicago.
Kristina doesn’t typically wear makeup, so I was a bit shocked when we discussed her look and she sent me her inspiration image – a heavy glitter smokey eye. I asked her if she was sure and her response melted my heart…she said she wanted a dramatic look with a silvery glitter smokey eye and that she knew I was the one to deliver the look aaaaaand keep it classy.
We did a dramatic eye and kept the skin very clean with nude pink lips to keep the look balanced and not too theatrical for her wedding. In the end, Kristina loved her look and so did her groom!
Kristina was kind enough to leave a 5 star review and provide a bit of advice to future brides-to-be:
Note: Kristina graciously shared a few of her professional wedding photos with me, and her photographer Terence Crayton granted me permission for use on my website.
Love, light & happiness!

PSA – Brides, whether you plan to book with me, or someone else, please do not wait until the last minute to secure your wedding makeup artist and book your bridal previews. In the past, I’ve had to turn many brides away because I was already booked on their wedding date. Your wedding day is one of the biggest most important days of your life, and YOU will be photographed more than anything or anyone on this day. Don’t leave your wedding day beauty needs to chance. You should plan to book your wedding makeup artist 9-12 months in advance. Once you secure your artist, book your bridal preview immediately and schedule it for 3-6 months before your wedding day. Happy planning!
