I traveled to Rosalind’s home prior to her wedding day for her Bridal Preview where we discussed and executed her perfect wedding day look. Like most of my Stunning Brides, Rosalind wanted a natural glam style of makeup, but she wanted to add a pop of color for the lips. I used a mixture of MAC lipsticks and created the perfect shade for Rosalind’s crisp fall wedding.
The view from the hotel suite was amazing, but I must admit the romantic lighting was not ideal for completing our work. Luckily, I always travel with my portable white balanced light to ensure makeup is properly matched and will be gorgeous in any lighting. Shout out to The Makeup Light for making such an amazing tool for us makeup artists.
Rosalind’s advice to future brides-to-be: “Have fun and enjoy the moment!”
Note: Rosalind graciously shared a few of her professional wedding photos with me, and her photographer at WASIO Photography granted me permission for use on my website.

PSA – Brides, whether you plan to book with me, or someone else, please do not wait until the last minute to secure your wedding makeup artist and book your bridal previews. In the past, I’ve had to turn many brides away because I was already booked on their wedding date. Your wedding day is one of the biggest most important days of your life, and YOU will be photographed more than anything or anyone on this day. Don’t leave your wedding day beauty needs to chance. You should plan to book your wedding makeup artist 9-12 months in advance. Once you secure your artist, book your bridal preview immediately and schedule it for 3-6 months before your wedding day. Happy planning!
